Hi all! I’m Mia Bencich, a student journalist at Arizona State University, currently studying and reporting through the Walter Cronkite School. My life has always revolved around sports, whether I was playing soccer growing up, managing a fantasy football team, or spending Sundays watching NFL games with my dad.

Outside of sports, I’m an Arizona native who loves taking advantage of everything the state has to offer, especially hiking and spending time outdoors. You can usually find me exploring trails, staying active at the gym, or looking for new ways to push myself physically and mentally.

I’m also a member of Pi Beta Phi, which has been an amazing community for friendship, leadership, and service during my time at ASU. On top of that, I care deeply about giving back through volunteering as a Sunday school teacher at my church and working with Make-A-Wish, which has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience in Arizona.
